An-Nisa is a non-profit organization working to help families in crisis situations, including domestic violence. Their goal is to provide services and resources to bring individuals and families to self-sufficiency.

IMPACTS has partnered with An-Nisa to provide support to women in need. 

 
 

 How do IMPACTS and An-Nisa work together?

As An-Nisa is an organization that works with individuals and families in Houston like IMPACTS, many of IMPACTS’ clients come from An-Nisa. IMPACTS and An-Nisa work together to help clients in the areas they need most.

What does a client’s progression into self sufficiency with An-Nisa and IMPACTS look like?

  • A client is brought to IMPACTS through either a community referral or an An-Nisa referral

  • IMPACTS provides care to clients through one or combination of our 4 programs. Cases are exchanged between IMPACTS and An-Nisa depending on the type of assistance that is needed.

  • After clients receive essential and timely support from IMPACTS, they are referred to An Nisa for next steps to success!

 How is assistance broken down between An-Nisa and IMPACTS?

  • Financially, IMPACTS helps through its Car Project by providing cars to individuals and families who need them most. IMPACTS also provides brief essential items support like grocery deliveries.

    An-Nisa provides the case management, housing, job placement, and temporary rental assistance for the clients.

  • IMPACTS offer emotional support through its Lahiqoon and Visiting Allah projects.

    An-Nisa provides counseling, continued education, vocational training, and spiritual training.
